In any other time in the last 30 years, I might have written this off as a being a case of the winter stir-crazies. Tragically, at this time, it starts to make sense. If citizens aren't willing to publicly call our "elected" officials onto the carpet, the Congress is never going to get off it's butt and do anything useful- and by "useful" I mean anything in range from "What they said they were going to do" to "What their constituents are asking them to do."
