I know it's asking a lot...
(Apropos all the sanctimonious sites that tell me I'm using a crappy browser and should "upgrade" to Firefox)
Any chance they'll now shut their damned cake-holes?
Oh well, even if they don't, Firefox clearly isn't "all that" - as a substitute for whatever else one might use, it's uninspiring, just as uninspiring as considering a switch in the other direction, e.g. to Internet Exploder. At least IE doesn't stake some claim to moral superiority, other than, well, by just working a bit better.

Seriously though, Firefox is hella good. Apart from the bugs, natch.

I'd love to stay and chat, but I have to go outside and get those got-damned neighbor kids off my lawn, before heading down to the MCL for th early-bird dinner special.

Opera's my favorite, though a lot of sites neglect to take Opera into account when designing and so you get the "Your browser sucks" message even when you have the latest version (making it doubly annoying). Still, you can't beat the native mouse gestures in Opera...

Oh no, it's not like a Microsoft product has ever had bugs before!
Seriously though, I use Firefox, and even with this, it's still just better than IE. Tabbed browsing is the greatest invention ever, and a bunch of the other features are awesome too. And on top of that, with Firefox I get less spyware, fewer popups, and I don't have to worry about adding in a bunch of third-party toolbars to do things Firefox does straight out of the zip file.
And I'm no Linuxhead either - I'm of the opinion that Windows is the best OS on the market, and I use Office all the time. But in this field, IE is simply inferior.
