This series of maps from the Atlas of the Universe will do nothing if not give you a little perspective on things. It reminds me of when I was a kid, and I'd start wrtiting my address, and just adding to it:

Me
315 Longview Rd.
Medina, Oh
United States
North America
Earth
Solar System
Orion Spur
Perseus Arm
Milky Way Galaxy
Local Supergroup
Universe

Here, for your convenience, is a map of the the local terrain:

Wow, Ken nailed it...it really does approach a Total Perspective thingy.

What's funny to me is that Buckethead saw fit to include, in his address, "Universe".

I mean...why would you have to say that? If "mail"- say, any information- could leave the universe, that means that there would be other universes. In which case, we'd need to specify which universe it was going to. Do you know how hard it would be to explain that you never got the Visa bill because it went to Asgard instead of your house? Or having a collection agency from the Third Transverse Realm of the Elders crawling up your ass for something...?
