I also disagree with you, even though you were just being funny. The Iraqi LOYALIST RESISTANCE think they know who they can strike at with impunity. The UN is no more the enemy of the Iraqi people than Starbucks is my enemy. I view them with distaste; I prefer not to go near them; but that's as far as it goes.

Starbucks is not my enemy. Anything that gets the American public drinking better coffee is not my enemy. Would I prefer that someone else had done it? Would I prefer that "gourmet" coffee in this country was not by default Full City or French roasted, which is too dark for most beans? Would I prefer that "good" coffee not tasted like expensive cinders as a result of this over-roasting?

But any day I can find myself in rural PA in need of java, and can step into a Starbucks instead of a filling station, I am grateful not for the surpassing goodness of Starbucks, but that they're there at all.
