Old can money .. that's classic. I'm still laughing. It's funny you point this out but I seriously just had a neighbor run off one of these "bottle barons" just last week and they were trying to help themselves to the neatly assembled "recyclable" bins I put outside. When I told my wife how "jipped" I felt .. she mentioned that it was going to be recycled anyhow. I guess she's right, however something still erks me to this day about how my conservation labor (however little it may be) financially benefited someone else. I guess I could keep the recycling inside until the recycling truck comes and make a mad dash to it -- but then I'd really be called the crazy neighbor.
