I have no idea what joke that
I have no idea what joke that line punches, but it does remind me of one of my favorites, attributed to the fat boy:
One Italian, you have a fine tenor
Two Italians, you have a retreat
Three Italians, you have an unconditional surrender
One German, you have a good worker
Two Germans, you have a Bund
Three Germans, you have a war
One Englishman, you have an idiot
Two Englishmen, you have a club
Three Englishmen, you have a world-spanning empire
"The fat boy"? Who knew Ted
"The fat boy"? Who knew Ted Kennedy had a flair for ethnic humor...
"I have no idea what joke that line punches" Me either; that's why it's forgotten. I only remember the punchline, or at best a sketch of how the joke's supposed to go. For some reason, over the years, now only the punchlines can I recall.
