More good commentary
Over at Aretae, another post is getting some good comments - Devin Finbarr seems to have a bit of teh smarts. He mentions that he's working on a draft summary of Formalist/Moldbug ideas, you can see it here, it's worth a look.

I'm halfway through Moldbug…
I'm halfway through Moldbug's opening multipart thesis.
Interesting, but dense enough to more closely approximate walking through a car wash than walking through a gentle spring rain.
So I've decided to focus first on one assertion, a key one, to see if I can believe it.
"Progressives always win."
I sincerely hope I can convince myself he's wrong, because if not, nothing he proposes can happen fast enough to save this country.
