It's amazing how good even Baby Got Back sounds translated into latin and back again. I LOVE reading the Odyssey for just that reason. Well, not because it was originally in English, but because the structure, imagery, and grammar is idiosyncratic to Latin alone, and I firmly believe that studying how a language works in translation to your native tongue is a great way to start to understand that language on a deep level.
