Baby

The noble house of Buckethead is now 33% larger, with the addition of new baby girl Jocelyn. More details later, as I am really, really, really tired. And that is fresh as a daisy compared to Mrs. Buckethead, who is very tired indeed. I'm going to go cook some dinner and sleep.

SO glad to hear it!! Thrilled to hear there is a little girl, with her little finger heavy with her Daddy.

I also hope the labor and delivery went as you both had planned!!

Please tell your wife to sleep when baby sleeps, and take her breakfast in bed for the next week or so, just to be gracious!!

Congrats. We're expecting the fourth (and final) addition to our family. Don't worry, it's not as hard as it seems. Once you manage to get a little sleep, you'll be fine.

Actually, regarding sleep - I learned with our first that so long as I know that Belinda will get up to take care of the baby, I can sleep through almost any amount of crying. The mind is an amazing thing.

Since I can't feed the baby, due to lack of working equipment, there's no point in me getting up anyway. On the flip side, Mrs. B never wakes up to the alarm anymore. If for some reason she needs to get up early, I have to set the alarm so that I wake up, and then I wake her up.

Belinda's the one who has to worry about sleep, but she can take small naps during the day, which helps somewhat. For her sake, hopefully Jocelyn will sleep through the night as early as John did.
