Penguins kill sharks by torpedoing up into the shark's stomach from underneath, causing the shark to explode.

I distrust actual facts. But this is plausible.

Sharks are not very agile swimmers. Their mass to fin ratio is high. The prey they take is mostly caught unaware.

Penguins out turn and catch even the quickest fish. So they could choose their attack point.

Funny, they didn't show any of this in the March of the Penguins, which me and the girls watched over the weekend.

Luckily, however, they did include deaths by lots of other causes, so there's that.

How many penguins are killed each year by exploding sharks?

Who knew they are the suicide bombers of the ocean?
