While Jesse Jackson is class
While Jesse Jackson is class of the world when it comes to sticking his fat nose in where it doesn't belong, and then making incredibly inane and starkly inflammatory remarks, others have weighed in as well.
Nat Hentoff and Ralph Nader have both come out in defense of Terry, which kind of surprised me. Hentoff's article is here, and Nader's comments can be read here. (That last one via Professor Bainbridge.)

As Buckethead noted in his earlier post, I still don't pretend to know the "right" answer here. The key determinant of whether in fact Nader and Henthoff are out in defense of Terri might be the construction of her actual wishes. Sadly, we'll never know her actual wishes, and until then, Nader & Henthoff could be deemed to have come out in defense of her continued life, rather than her wishes, and by extension her self.
Damnable uncertainty!
