Oh, Son Of A &$%#!

So it turns out the revolutionary new nonsteroidal, safe-for-use-every-day treatment for the eczema that makes my hands crack 'n' bleed all the year round that I've been using diligently like it's my job for the last eighteen months might give me cancer instead.

Dammit!

NDR, I own three pairs of gloves plus glove liners, calibrated to keep my hands warm in temperatures from -20 to +50 Fahrenheit. I no longer touch cleaning fluids or dishwater without gloves on, moisturize all the time, avoid most types of soap and detergents, and I have even curtailed my bread baking schedule thanks to the aggressive hygroscopicity of flour. These things help for sure, but when my hands want to crack 'n' bleed (and be sure to say that in a Doctor Nick Riviera voice), I have a choice between 'roids, which carry their own risks, or possible skin cancer.

I would like to apologize now for crossing over the "Too Much Information" transom.
