Might've been funnier with the Islamic date in the by-line; what was it, about 1230-ish..?
Meh. The dif is that the USA
Meh. The dif is that the USA was the [em]first[/em] attempt at a representative constitutional democracy, and Iraq is merely the ~100th. By now it's proper to expect a steeper learning curve.
(Although of those ~100, ~75 didn't work out so good in the long run...)
