There is a certain degree of rightness about it. But man oh man, don't this just drive home what a lawless place Russia has become under Pooty-poot (who, I am told, has a good soul)? You'd think that an autocrat in the business of consolidating power into a quasi-totalitarian state reminiscent of the USSR would pay closer attention to the tendency of the Russian business community to live by frontier justice rules. But nooooo! Yukos buys the farm and takes Russia's good name in the international investing community with it! Private enterprise is choked off by gangsters and government graft! And rather than address these issues (even if by lowering the boom on everyone), Putin is preoccupied with gassing hostages and alienating satellite nations.

The only difference between this dead guy and the principals of Yukos is they could afford bodyguards and Mr. Spammer couldn't.
