Not Florida! That's America's wang!

An old friend of mine from Ohio who for some reason up and moved to Florida after she got married just sent me an image of a brand new postcard honoring that beleagured, storm-battered state.

Heh. Indeed.

(I very nearly posted this under "Crazy Foreigners" since my experiences within the Sunshine state have uniformly been of the queer, unsettling, accidental-touristy kind. No offense.)

J,
The one that they let out of the house would look like Long Island.

The one that they keep locked in a cage in the basement would look like Stamford.

I always thought that Florida was God's waiting room. But if Florida is the wang, the balls would be somewhere circum Mobile, Al.

And the prostate would be in LA. I leave the rest as an exercise for the reader.

Brgt, are my posts unacceptable in some way? After all, I am but merely doing my best to fill in Johno's absence...

J:

Did you have mushrooms for breakfast, by chance? "America's Wang"?

That's beyond priceless. And GL isn't sick, neither.

Patton,
Sadly, no. The "America's Wang" bit is one of the millions of Simpsonsania floating around my brain in a thick stew, colliding in perpetual Brownian motion with fragments of the D&D Monster Manual (anyone want stats on a Rust Monster?), the words to Monty Python's "Philosophers' Song," and the names of every single sideman who played with Miles Davis in his mid-70s cocaine period.

If Connecticut and Manhattan had a child, I suspect it would look an awful lot like Long Island.

6

I always thought of Manhattan as New England's wang.

It dangles limply from New York into the Atlantic, like it just finished fucking Connecticut.

And left the best part of itself around Danbury, I'd guess.

7

Wow, someone posts on here other than Buckethead, I was starting to wonder.

It's the beginning of the semester, and this year it's four times the work: four times the fun!!

I expect to return to normal posting density sometime before the earth is swallowed by the sun.
