Oh dear. I used the phrase 'smarter than your average bear' on a personal ad. Honestly, being a people person doesn't make him smart. It doesn't make him a shrewd mastermind of policy either. It makes him good with names and faces. Hell, at summer camp, I can nail down 300 first names with faces AND the place they came from. That doesn't reflect a whole lot about intelligence. It just says I have a good memory and I'm nice to people. BFD.
