Dude, lock your internal editor in the closet with a supply of ramen and a catheter for the next thirty days. You've got eleven months to edit (or, more specifically, 31 days in March for National Novel Editing Month).

Just write crap. Lots and lots of crap. Fix it later.

I'm trying a spew/cut mode. I spew five hundred words or so, read it once to see if it fits with what I wrote before, cut out the nasty bits, then repeat. I'm not doing rewriting, just excising the rotten parts.
